Are you a color lover? Want to keep up with the latest color trends?

Check out this great resource I found that monitors and influences color trends.
It's ColourLovers.com. You can view the most popular colour trends as well as create your own colour palettes. And you can even vote for your favorites. I also love that they feature not only color palattes, but patterns as well.

ColourLovers.com is a Color + Design community for creative inspiration --- a place to check out a world of color, compare color palettes, submit news and comments, and read color related articles and interviews.

Whether planning a party, planning a wedding, or decorating a nursery, you're sure to find inspiration for your project at ColourLovers.com.

But I must insert a warning here. It's easy to addicted and spend way too much time playing with colors, so please proceed with caution!

How to Get a Dream Wedding at a Dream Price

I have a great budget saving tip for you today. Actually it's a lot of tips! And it comes from a true expert in the wedding business.

Brides magazine editor, Millie Martini Bratten, did an interview with ABC News on how to have a "Dream Wedding at a Dream Price." She gave tons of great tips. Here are the highlights:

Save on decorating expenses by having your reception at a venue that is already decorated and/or furnished or at least partially decorated, like a botanical gardens or a banquet hall that has chandeliers and nice table covers, etc.

You can usually get better rates if you choose an off-peak date. For instance, choose a date other than Saturday that is not in May, June or July, which are the busiest times for wedding professionals.

Tweak the meal. Go with a garden salad rather than a fancy multi-ingredient salad. Serve 3 courses instead of 4.

Let the wedding vendors know what your budget is and what your dream is and ask them how they can help you.

Click here to watch the entire interview.
(There's a short commercial you'll have to watch first.)

Enjoy!
