Unique Fall Wedding Invitations in Burgundy and Orange

Sweet Fifteen Zebra Print and Pink Ribbon Invitation

Have you noticed how popular zebra print is with women and girls of all ages? Teens and pre-teens love to wear zebra print tops and skirts, college age gals decorate their rooms with zebra print, young moms use zebra print in their baby decorations, executive ladies are stylin' with their zebra print computer cases and eyeglasses, sassy women of all ages carry zebra print handbags and purses . . .

Dreaming of Cooler Weather

Although we haven't had as many 100+ degree days here in the Lubbock, Texas area, it's still been really hot! I like Summer, but I am looking forward to the slightly cooler days of autumn.

And working on my new Fall wedding invitation designs has really got me dreaming of Autumn and everything that comes with it: cooler weather, back to school, high school football games, and of course, watching the glorious splendor of the leaves changing from their Summer green to warm shades of yellow, orange, red and maroon.

Informal Wedding Invitation Wording

When a recent death in the family, or when personal preference results in a so-called "quiet" wedding, when only the immediate family and very close friends are invited, a short note written either by the bride-to-be or her mother, is the only invitation. Following is a note of this kind from the bride-elect to her friend.


Dear Janet:

Two weeks from Monday, on the ninth of September, Mr. Brill and I are to be married. We are asking only a few of our most intimate friends to be present, and would be very glad to have you among them. The ceremony will take place at four o'clock.
